| Know Your World |
| There are four different activities in Know Your World. Each has a
'reset' button which is useful if children are taking it in turns to tackle the
activities. The world has fallen apart A 'broken' map of the world is displayed. All but 3 pieces have been
removed and can be found at the bottom and on the right of the map area. If children (or you!) find the exercise difficult, there are two
ways in which the task can be made easier. Note Unless you have a very large screen display, it will be necessary to scroll the window to get to the pieces on the right. Wet and dry bits Below the map are the names of 7 oceans and 6 continents. (Antarctica is missing.) The names have to be dragged onto the query buttons. When they are correctly positioned they change colour and are locked into place. Name 20 countries / Name another 20 countries Below the map are the names of 20 countries. They have to be dragged onto the query buttons. When they are correctly positioned they change colour and are locked into place. |
